That word was specifically chosen by the press to stir up people. "Dangling" makes it sound like he only held the baby loosely by his arm. MJ had a firm grip around the child's body. It was an error in MJ's judgment to show his child that way and he admitted that and apologized. The child was not dropped or hurt in any way.
