The only 3 things you need are: (1) Internet access and (2) A photo of your face or the face of the hair model you're going to perform the hair-makeover on (i.e., the new haircut for the new hairstyle)... Best with hair pulled back from face.
Either you use one of those little digital cameras or scan a photograph and save to your computer.
Actually, with the virtual hair style make-over you don't even need a photo (but we recommend it) of your haircut model. Simply choose a face shape similar to the person who's getting the haircut / hair-makeover.

The third thing you'll naturally require is access to a virtual hairstyle tool.
Now, you don't want to go out there buying some virtual hair styler/ hair-makeover software and always paying for upgrades and security updates or whatever. Not unless you have a lot of money to waste and can deduct it from your income tax.

So what we use is maybe not so convenient as doing it all on our laptop, but it's a very affordable and fairly priced low-cost solution (only $14.95) which enables us to upload unlimited amount of photos at any time of day or night and try out unlimited virtual hairstyles (Well, ok, we're exaggerating... you "only" have over 5,000 hairstyles to choose from, so it is kind of "limited", but, well, it sure takes long to go through and try out so many... And anyhow all the possible hairstyles one can think of are available here...).
